Philosophy of the Activities Department

Activities are an opportunity for all students to succeed.  Activities afford students a positive setting for social interaction, character development and the exposure to various choices on the road to a healthy lifestyle.

  1. Quality activities programs support a commitment to academic achievement and to all other areas of performance for the student participant.
  2. Offers opportunity for enjoyment, participation and competition.
  3. Include high expectations of behavior for administrators, coaches, staff and student- athletes.
  4. Provide entertainment for the South Tama community.
  5. Allow for physical fitness and a sense of pride.
